Program Overview
This four-year apprenticeship program is designed to provide students with both hands-on experience and classroom instruction.
Apprentices will complete on-the-job training with an approved electrical contractor participating in the program.
How the Program Works
Two complementary tracks combine to create a complete electrical professional.
On-the-Job Training
Apprentices work directly under licensed journeyman electricians, gaining real-world experience across a broad range of project types:
- New residential and commercial construction
- Remodeling and renovation work
- Electrical repairs and troubleshooting
- Motor control and industrial applications
- Preventive maintenance programs
Classroom Instruction
Structured coursework prepares you for a complete career in the electrical trade. Topics include:
- Understanding electrical theory
- Residential electrical wiring
- Commercial electrical wiring

- Basic motors and controls
- National Electrical Code study & understanding
- Design & manage residential projects
- Design & manage commercial projects
